Indonesian Children’s Oral Healthcare Prevention Program
Dental caries (tooth decay) is a silent epidemic in Indonesia, affecting over 90% of children. This program aims to prevent caries and promote oral health through education and intervention.
Indonesia Congenital Heart Disease Relief Program
Congenital heart disease is one of the leading causes of child mortality in Indonesia, with over 6,000 children dying annually due to a lack of timely treatment. This program aims to provide life-saving surgeries and reduce preventable deaths.
Indonesian Children’s Oral Healthcare Prevention Program
Key Goals:
- Clinical training for 200-300 dentists in the period of 2 – 3 years. Collaborate with famous dentists from Indonesia, Japan and China to create an SOP for pediatric oral prevention.
- Provide sealant treatments to children in underserved areas.
- Educate communities on oral hygiene practices through targeted campaigns.
- Work with the Ministry of Health to integrate pediatric oral health initiatives into public health policies, secure subsidies for sealant programs and outreach, and establish dental care units in high-need regions.
Future Action:
- Achieve a 20% reduction in childhood caries rates across Indonesia within five years.
- Establish Indonesia as a regional leader in children's oral health prevention, showcasing best practices for Southeast Asia.
